Pia Willers is a Senior Research Associate at the EWI and a doctoral candidate at the University of Cologne. She is also a scientific advisor to the Expert Council for Climate Issues, which deals with greenhouse gas emission trends and the achievement of climate protection targets in Germany. Her research focuses on electricity market design and the modeling of energy systems. Before joining the EWI, Pia Willers studied economics at the University of Cologne.
