In order to meet the challenges of the energy transition, electricity grid operators in particular have a variety of different measures at their disposal, which are incentivized differently in the ARegV with regard to their cost type and structure. However, inefficient incentives are currently being used. Amir Ashour Novirdoust, Research Associate at EWI – Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne, will uncover these inefficiencies in the first session of our grid series on March 18 and explain how a cost-efficient energy supply can be achieved in the future.
