The war in Ukraine has realigned the energy policy of gas supply in Germany and EU, which is changing global trade flows. A new study from EWI presents the possible developments of global gas markets until 2030.
The current gas-saving measures should be continued and, if possible, extended to ensure security of supply even in the event of a cold winter. This is the conclusion reached by the EWI in an analysis of European gas supply and demand balances.
